Dear Mr. Hoth,
I am a direct decendant of Donald Bane (MacBean) of Inverness, Scotland and his father was Aaron Macbean 1570 Of Inverness. You may find the trail with Baldwin Bane posted by ceboren@aol.com. My grandfather was John Bane of Emmett, Idaho. This line apparently went by both names Bane and MacBean and MacBane of the the Clan Chattan of Invernesshire, Scotland.
