Came from England to Gloucester County, Virginia in 1642, abord the ship "Abraham of London". An inventory of his estate was filed in York County, Virginia on 20 Dec 1669. A land grant to Mary, wife of Edward Mumford d/o Joseph Watkins, deceased, is found in Gloucester County, Virginia.
