About 1.5 miles from Mosbach is Bergnerzell, where several members of the Utz family lived. From here back to Haundorf is 2 miles, and what we have done is travel in a circle. Standing in Mosbach, with a wide angle lens, I could take a picture of the other four villages.
I asked a person here if there were any Utz family members in the neighborhood. He sort of laughed and got a copy of the telephone book and showed me a page and a half of them.
The furthest back that any ancestor of George Utz has been traced is one great-grandmother of Kühnhardt.
